Our Story

It all stemmed from the dream of Nonno Angelo who always wanted to “transform” that piece of land into a small hotel so that anyone who wanted to, could enjoy the wonders of our land. We remember how, on family sharing occasions, he loved to tell the details of how he would have wanted it along the fort road, but in those days bureaucracy created quite a few problems.

B&B facilities were certainly not topical, and getting permits for a real hotel was practically mission impossible!!! His big dream remained so until… Papa Claudio, wanted to make it come true for him, creating a one-of-a-kind B&B and naming it after what Grandpa Angelo would have wanted… Monte Moro!
